PADI Discover Scuba Diving:
No prior experience necessary - we've got you covered!

​​Everyone of us started our scuba diving experience at some point and all levels of scuba diving are welcome at MERMAID DIVERS. Specifically for people who don’t own a dive certification and have never been diving before, we offer a PADI Discover Scuba Diving program (one day course). This program is a 1-day introductory diving experience that allows you to try diving in a safe and controlled environment. It’s a perfect way to literally discover diving and to explore the beauty beneath the waves while making unforgettable memories. You'll learn how to use the diving equipment, basic diving skills and take your first breaths underwater. If necessary we literally take you by the hand and discover the underwater world with you. At MERMAID DIVERS you will get all the attention needed and the ratio is restricted to two divers per instructor. While we can't make any promises, there's a chance you might see a turtle during your first dive!  

 

With the clear blue water and the shallow reefs, Cozumel is the perfect place to try scuba diving. Our instructors will train you with kindness, empathy and a lot of patience. Quick, quick, quick isn’t our thing. Enjoy the journey, embrace the underwater beauty, and make lasting memories at your own pace! By completing this program, you will get a taste of the underwater world and decide if you want to pursue further diving education and get certified. Relax and enjoy!

 

Because this is dive training, there is a medical questionnaire involved. You need to be healthy to start your course. Please contact us beforehand, if there are any doubts.

No prior diving experience needed!

 

You'll get:

• Highly experienced and professional PADI Instructor 

• Very personal approach: 2 students max per PADI instructor

• Scuba gear provided during the course: Mask, BCD, Regulator, Fins, Wetsuit

• Theory Discover Scuba Diving

• Basic skill practice for scuba diving

• Two boat dives with PADI Professional (Optional: 1 shore dive, 1 boat dive)

• Water and light lunch on the boat included

Enjoy free cancellation with at least 12 hours' notice before your dive activity. Please note that no deposit will be returned for cancellations made within 12 hours. Full payment is required on the day of diving.
