All the courses we offer are conducted by very professional and experienced PADI Instructors. We provide a high-standard service to ensure attention, safety and relaxation during the dives for memorable underwater experiences - with or without a dive certification. Every guest no matter their background or level of diving is welcome at MERMAID DIVERS! Apart from guiding certified divers, we offer professional PADI Courses from Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Courses, Advanced Courses and Rescue Courses. Our MERMAID DIVERS team is committed to provide high-quality diver training and continuing education programs that include exciting adventures and marine life awareness. We are fully equipped with the latest and best quality scuba gear from well-known brands. We dive in spots all over the island so that our students get a full and fun dive experience while learning how to dive in Cozumel.
We offer very personalized dive experiences. Beside diving in small groups, we try to accommodate your personal boat preferences. If feasible guests can either dive from a bigger, more spacious boat or a smaller, but faster vessel. You want to sleep in and start your daily dives at 9.30? No problem! You want to start early in the morning (around 7.30) and enjoy a free afternoon? We’ll try our best to make it happen! If you want to do the PADI course together with your family or friends - you are more than welcome! If needed, we will add another instructor but you'll stay together as buddies during the course.

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is perfect for those who aren't scuba certified and just want to try diving for one day. You'll learn basic skills and knowledge needed to dive under direct supervision of a PADI professional. By completing this program, you'll get a taste of the underwater world and decide if you want to pursue further diving education.
To get PADI certified, you enroll into the PADI Open Water Diver course, which is the entry-level course that teaches you the basics of diving. The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is the next level, which allows you to explore diving experiences and improve your skills. The PADI Rescue course teaches you how to prevent and manage diving emergencies, while the PADI Divemaster course is the first professional level of diving. PADI also offers a variety of specialty courses, such as Nitrox, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, and many more. Each course has its own requirements and prerequisites, so it's important to choose the course that suits your interests and skill level.

Snorkeling in Cozumel
Non-divers/snorkelers are also welcome on our dive boats upon availability. Cozumel is a must for anyone seeking vibrant marine life and stunning coral reefs. The island is home to some of the best snorkeling spots in the Caribbean, featuring crystal-clear waters that offer excellent visibility. You'll have the chance to encounter colorful fish, sea turtles, sharks or even eagle rays. With its warm climate and beautiful surroundings, Cozumel provides an unforgettable snorkeling experience that will leave you in awe of the underwater world. Several of Cozumel's top dive spots are perfect for snorkeling as well, allowing you to share the experience with your diving buddy on the same boat!
