PADI RESCUE COURSE
PADI RESCUE COURSE:
Prevent and manage potential dive emergencies with us!
The PADI Rescue Course is a diving course that teaches you how to prevent and manage diving emergencies, both in and out of the water. You’ll learn how to recognize and respond to different types of diving-related accidents, such as panicked divers, unresponsive divers and missing divers. You will also discover how to perform rescue techniques, such as rescuing an unresponsive diver from the water and providing first aid. By completing this course, you will become a more confident and prepared diver, ready to handle many emergency situations that may arise. You also need to provide proof of Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. If necessary you can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course with your PADI dive instructor.
Requirements: To enroll in the PADI Rescue Course, you must be at least 12 years old and have the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent, as well as have completed a CPR and First Aid course within the past two years. If you do not have a valid CPR/First Aid certification, you will have to attend the EFR course at our center before completing the Rescue Diver course. At least 20 logged dives to begin the course.
